About Myselfment
Hey there! I'm Sara—a health designer and the founder of Myselfment.
I help people improve their mental well-being and find their path in life by designing self-development solutions.
Ever feel like life didn’t come with an instruction manual? I have. Over the past 13 years, I explored therapy, devoured self-help books, and attended countless seminars—all in the quest to create a better life. But honestly, it felt like trying to assemble IKEA furniture without the manual: time-consuming, expensive, and occasionally leading to tears.
When COVID-19 shook everything up, I co-founded RavanNiush, an online platform offering personal development courses and therapy sessions. It was incredible to help hundreds of people find direction in their lives. Yet, a recurring question kept catching me off guard:
- “How did you figure it all out for yourself? How can we do the same?”
At first, my answer was awkwardly honest: “I’ve invested decades in therapy, seminars, certifications...” Not exactly the shortcut they were hoping for.
That's when it hit me—there had to be a better way.
I distilled years of insights into a clear, accessible toolkit called Self Journey, backed by two years of research, including interviews, co-design sessions, and user tests, to ensure it truly serves people in real-life situations.
Self Journey is like a GPS for your life's journey. It cuts through the fluff and gives you clear, actionable steps to navigate whatever life throws at you—be it a career change, relationship hurdles, dealing with loss, starting a business, or just feeling lost. With every use, you’ll feel more confident navigating life’s transitions and challenges.
Why does this matter? Because everyone deserves to live their best life without dedicating a decade (and a small fortune) to finding direction. With the right tools, you can take control of your story and become the hero of your life.
And here’s the coolest part: Self Journey has already made an impact. It won the Design and Research Medal and the President’s Award at OCAD University—the largest design university in Canada. It was brought to life through collaboration with researchers from the University Health Network (UHN)—Canada's largest health research organization—and mental health professionals worldwide.
Thanks for reading my story. I’d love for you to give Self Journey a try and share your thoughts—we’re always looking to improve!
